First Morning in Germany

I’m up early, not because I couldn’t sleep, but because I’m headed to Mons, Belgium today! There is a festival going on there this time of year, and the 76th Army Band is there to perform. I haven’t seen Mat yet, and I’ll be traveling with an army musician and his wife to join the [...]

Leaving on a Jet Plane

I’m finally in Germany! Mom and I headed to Nashville International Airport on Thursday afternoon. I was able to take Tori and Snickers with me, but was a nervous wreck throughout the trip.

Venting

Today

I can’t believe how today has gone… it’s been really weird. Well, my reactions to things, anyway, have been a bit weird.

Moving Out

I picked up the keys to my new apartment today.

I Miss Her

There are times in life when I feel lost, and they happen occasionally. However, this is the first time I’ve felt lost since March, when my grandmother died. Maw-Maw always knew what to say at times like this, and she’s not around now to give me words of advice.

After…

Thank you to everyone who’s posted comments here, sent emails, and to those who are reading this afraid to post a comment. Personally, I’m feeling weird… I’m not able to put into words the feelings I’m having.
