Whew, made it!

According to the doc, Clair is still expected to be early. However, Mat and I are hoping she’ll at least wait until we can both be there for the birth (obviously I’ll be there ha ha!).

So, I guess now is the time when I’m curious as to if you all have any predictions on when she’ll decide to finally grace us with her presence. Any guesses? Post your ideas here!

Some of you may be aware that a few weeks ago we found out Clair is trying to make an early appearance.

The doc put me on bedrest last week, and I have a few more days left until my next appointment. We’ll then get to see how far along things have progressed and will hopefully get some news that Clair us staying put for at least 2 more weeks! I’ll also get to find out if I can go back to work; being home this much is nice I guess, but I’m starting to get a little stir-crazy.

Please keep Mat, Clair and me in your thoughts.

After a short bout of heartburn (which has subsided) I’m now dealing with back pain.
Some of my other pregnant friends have suggested that it’s my sciatic nerve receiving pressure from the baby. So, I’ve started sleeping with tons more pillows and sitting on a yoga ball during the day. Continue reading →
